I hope life finds you in good health or otherwise a great setting.

I'm retired now and have made better progress.
I've got the RF69 Monteino Mega receiving data from the Davis ISS. I am now trying to integrate BME680 sensor from Adafruit for indoor Gas, Humidity, Temperature, and Barometric pressure.

Next I'll clean up software and add it to a PI Prototype Hat that will run weewx software, and other services. Eventually I hope to have it communicate through the GPIO Serial RX/TX pins and avoid another wire.

The Proto hat mounts the Monteino nicely, and has room for the RTC and BME680. The PI case allows the GPIO mount and accepts a PI 7" touch screen. This will be my display and allow me to switch functions for future development with Openhab home hub and integration with Alexa. That's my hope anyway.

I'll get a blog or sourceforge/GitHub account after this phase and post my project. This page got me started and I've discovered other points of reference to here during developing.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Kevin CrossAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14561820779263237590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593523188053624873.post-10801307688387194842017-08-01T22:51:07.444-06:002017-08-01T22:51:07.444-06:00Update: Making slow progress. I'll look into that later. It probably has something to due with your changes not being tested against the MEGA, at least that's what I've gathered with the remarks.

During setup I ran across this little item, http://www.airspayce.com/mikem/arduino/RF69/, regarding the RFM69 library and was wondering if you had any thoughts on it. Since you made some modes to the original, which I used in my MEGA, I thought maybe you might have had some recent experience. It certainly seems that it can serve up a lot more than RFM69.

I'll plod forward on development and return from time to time to post new stuff I find, and share solutions when I have something to show.

Bye for now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593523188053624873.post-38864279975151996702017-05-24T22:58:48.003-06:002017-05-24T22:58:48.003-06:00Hello Dekay
